About the Course

The Tibetan medical and yogic traditions contains profound teachings on how to relax and rejuvenate the body, energy, and mind through diet and lifestyle choices, yoga and meditation practices, and rejuvenating healing external therapies.

This long weekend getaway at Pure Land Farms is designed for participants to both learn and experience the healing practices of Sowa Rigpa: the Tibetan Science of Health and Happiness.

The morning sessions will be taught by Dr. Nida and livestreamed for distance learning. Dr. Nida will teach the fundamentals of Sowa Rigpa with an emphasis on self and home care and rejuvenation.

Select portions of the afternoon practical sessions at Pure Land Farms will be filmed and uploaded into digital course for distance learners.

Teachings are based on the instructions of Yuthok Yönten Gönpo, the father of Tibetan Medicine, from the Gyudzhi Four Medical Tantras, and Dr. Nida's personal experience as a Tibetan physician and meditation teacher.

No prior background in Tibetan Medicine is required to attend this course.
